Last year, my daughter was the most outstanding student who got the Best in Reading award and Best in English. She was also chosen to do the welcome address during their school's recognition day.
As the top 1 student last year during Kinder 1, It was quite a pressure to be the Top 1 again this year. Although I don't think I have to pressure my kid because I also want her to enjoy life as a kid who can play more often. I just motivate her that if she does well in school, she'll get to play wherever she wants for unlimited time and will get the toy that she wants to have. And I notice, she enjoys studying just like playing with her toys. She reads book at her age and loves to draw and write.
As a working mom, I have less time to teach her so it feels so amazing on how she excels in school. She got a perfect score for their 4th periodical exam.
